"Object-Oriented COBOL Laboratory Practicum" for Educators
October 16 - 19, 1997 ------ Richmond, KY 40475

This program is specially designed to meet the needs of university and college educators. The program blends Object-Oriented analysis and design into a unified 28 hour curriculum using a series of lectures and practical hands-on-training in a classroom equipped with PCs operating in a networked environment using Micro Focus Personal COBOL for Windows with Object Orientation.
Educators will leave the course with:
1. Textbook with program disk and course notes
2. Style and naming convention guide
3. suggested reading list
4. Overview of who's who in object technology
5. Overview of different object-oriented languages with strengths and weaknesses

Fees: This four-day course is offered to educators for $295. Micro Focus AG Program members may attend for $195. A limited number of Micro Focus AGP seats are available. Class size is limited to 28 seats. Please register early to ensure a seat.
Travel: Fly to Lexington, KY., and travel to Richmond, Kentucky. The Holiday Inn is located at 100 Eastern Bypass, just east of I75 at exit 87 approximately 30 miles south of Lexington.
Hotel/Motel: Contact the Holiday Inn at (606) 623-9220 for accommodations and refer to : COBOLU. The Holiday Inn is conveniently located 1 mile west of the EKU campus. Transportation will be provided to and from the campus each day.

  Credit card information or payment must accompany registration form. The course will begin promptly at 9:00 am on Thursday, October 16th and will conclude by 11:30 am on Sunday, October 19th. Contact Don Carr for transportation assistance to and from Lexington Airport.
