Many corporations require their employees to attend annual training seminars on company ethics. Code of conduct and ethics statements are displayed in places highly visible by the employees in their workplace. Ethics manuals may be stored are at a convenient location which provide easy access, or even ethics WWW pages may exist so that every employee has easy access to the policies to know what is required and expected of them. Violations of the ethics statements could lead to disciplinary action or even termination. Most corporations make every effort to ensure they conduct business in an ethical manner. In some cases they are required by law. Many corporations have been levied heavy fines for not conducting business properly.
