Each rectangle is divided into sections. The task name is at the top. The task ID and the estimated duration are in the middle section of the rectangle. The start and end dates, which are automatically calculated by Project are in the lower section of the rectangle.
Primitive tasks (only) are connected by arrows the indicate predecessors and successors. This information, if recorded on the Gantt Chart, is carried over to the PERT Chart.
